Get Involved

Lunenburg County Mesh is a community-driven project, and there are many ways to get involved — technical or not.

Whether you’re curious, want to help, or think you have a good location for network coverage, we’d love to hear from you.

You do not need technical experience, equipment, or prior knowledge to reach out.

Ways You Can Help

People contribute to this project in many different ways, including:

  • 📡 Hosting a solar-powered repeater node
  • 📍 Suggesting a good location for network coverage
  • 🏠 Offering access to a building, mast, or elevated property
  • 🗺️ Helping identify coverage gaps or strategic areas
  • 📣 Sharing information with neighbours or community groups
  • 🤝 Simply learning and staying informed

If you’re not sure where you fit yet — that’s perfectly fine.

About Repeater Hosting

Hosting a repeater does not mean you are responsible for running a network.

In most cases, hosts:

  • Provide a location (roof, mast, building, or land)
  • Allow equipment installation
  • Occasionally check on equipment if needed

The project handles planning, coordination, and technical guidance.

You can express interest without any commitment.
